Jagerhof in Walldurn

We love being at the Jägerhof. The food is delicious. The design of the guest room is unique and requires a lot of time and passion. The hosts are very personable. Everything just fits.

We stopped there after a trail tour with the MTB. Super delicious and a unique boss who talked to us for a long time. Very funny. Nothing fancy Micki, but really tasty and properly portioned. Highly recommended and really nice location.

Cozy restaurant but maybe a bit too much decoration, food (pork loin) was very tough. Unfortunately we found out in retrospect that the waitress offset itself to our disadvantage on her handwritten note.

Very dear and nice hosts. It's actually closed on Sundays from 6 p.m., but something delicious was cooked for us. Many thanks.

Have been going here for Christmas for several years now but this year we are very disappointed. The service is unfriendly, the prices too expensive and the food was delicious. Just because we had some people canceled and we were less than planned, we were snapped. It is a pity that this once so good restaurant has changed so badly. We will not come anymore.

Mega beautiful Christmas decoration. Very tasty food, the eye eats too. A recommendation for game lovers, but everyone else will get their money's worth here.

We were here for a Christmas party. The food could only be ordered until 6 p.m. but unfortunately we were not informed beforehand. Therefore, we had to order directly and rushed, which we were told about the rather unfriendly service when entering the inn. Another problem was the children who belonged to our group. Without a friendly "good evening" we were rebuked to keep the children away from the Christmas decorations. The food was good, but because of the hospitable manner, I will not visit this basically nice restaurant again.

This restaurant has the most beautiful decorations! The view during dinner was stunning. The building is an old barn. The food is delicious. This is my second time here and I already can’t wait to come back. There is even a store upstairs where you can purchase some of the decorations that were on display in the restaurant.

Lovely place, nicely decorated for Christmas and Easter. Make sure to reserve a table as they are fully booked early on. They serve a great variety of German classics including different types of Schnitzel, Braten and Schweinemedallions, Spätzle and Knödel, soups and salads. The food is very heavy and filling, so make sure you show up hungry. :)

A real tip. Enjoy your meal. Very friendly staff. And beautifully decorated depending on the season.

On our trip to the Odenwald, we came across the Jägerhof today. The restaurant is located on a hill in Kaltenbrunn in Walldürn with a beautiful view of the Odenwald. The entrance is at ground level and the toilets are accessible without steps. Only from the parking lot to the restaurant is a small slope or slope to overcome. So the restaurant is also recommended for people with mobility problems. Already when you enter the great and lavishly decorated guest room in the eye is depending on the season even remodeled. One or the other may be a bit much, but we were completely thrilled and in every corner there was something to discover. We were immediately welcomed by the boss when entering and also the service was fast and courteous. Even for a private chat, the boss took time. The food was fresh, was of excellent quality, was served very quickly and was delicious. The portions were extremely large and the pricing is more than justified. We spent a few very nice hours there today and of course now want to get to know the decoration of the other seasons. Thumbs up and absolute recommendation! Ps: a telephone reservation is highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere and great food, but it's a pity that you can only order food until 19 o'clock .... you would at least have to be informed at the table reservation.
